Services
Majestic Nurturing is a private practice offering in-home clinical lactation consultations for families who are seeking support with feeding their babies. Care plans are created collaboratively, considering the needs and unique circumstances of the family. Our practice is a network provider for Tricare beneficiaries. The directory for the Tricare Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support program can be found at this link. At Majestic Nurturing, the financial circumstances of a family will never be a barrier to care. We offer a sliding fee scale. We seek to provide kind and supportive care to all the families that we have the opportunity to serve.
About
Like many who come to this field, the idea of Majestic Nurturing was born out of the experience of raising our baby. I am proud that I was able to meet my own breastfeeding goals, but it was much more difficult than it needed to be. With the inspiration from my own experience as well as many others, and the encouragement of my wife and loved ones, I changed careers. I earned my Master’s degree in health, specializing in lactation, and earned my International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification in the same year, 2014.
I have been honored to have worked with various coalitions and organizations at the international, national, state and local levels as we journeyed to various US Navy duty stations across the country. We are delighted to return permanently to our adopted home of Washington state. When we are not working, you will likely find us out in the woods somewhere on a hiking trail, or playing video games. You might also find me taking care of my various plant babies, or curled up under a blanket reading a book, my cat in my lap, and a cold-brew coffee with oat milk in my hand. đđ
